Electric Vehicle (EV) Diagnostics
A fully electric vehicle (EV) has no combustion engine at all — instead it runs on one or more electric motors and a high-voltage electrical system, controlled by many electronic modules. That's why EV diagnostics is fundamentally different from traditional engine diagnostics.
We check the high-voltage battery's state of health (SOH) and cell balance, the battery's thermal management system (cooling/heating), the operation of the electric motor and inverter, and the reduction gear — which replaces a traditional transmission.
We separately check the charging system (AC and DC charging circuits), regenerative-braking control, and the common electronic systems that also operate the same way in an EV — ABS/ESP, SRS, EPB, EPS, BCM and ADAS (radar/camera).
We work with European, Japanese, American and Chinese fully electric cars — available diagnostic functions may vary by make and model.
