Hybrid Car Diagnostics — HEV and PHEV

We check the hybrid battery's state of health (SOH), cell balance and voltages, the battery cooling system, and charge/discharge parameters — as well as the operation of the inverter and converter, which manage the energy split between the combustion engine and the electric motor.

We separately analyze the combustion engine and fuel system where the hybrid system meets the conventional engine, as well as the CVT/e-CVT transmission and its control sensors. We also check the braking system (ABS/ESP — including regenerative-braking logic), airbags (SRS), the electronic parking brake (EPB), the power steering module (EPS) and the comfort module (BCM).
